Aviary - Online Based Image Editing Tool
Aviary provides free tools for you to use and you can either use it via any internet connection or on your mobile phone.
Consider this. You are away from your computer, either at a friend's home or vacationing and you have to make some edits to a photo / image file. You can quickly make changes to the photo image by using Aviary as they are online based so you can make the changes even if you are away from your usual computer. Just log into your free account and you can start using their tools to edit your photo images. You don't need to have Photoshop handy, you don't need to be in front of your own computer to do this.
One of the best things in our view, is that if you are not very technically sophisticated when it comes to editing images, Aviary is much more user friendly than Photoshop. Although the image editor is not as powerful as Photoshop's tools, it gets the basic job done. Plus it's free, so it's a pretty good tool to use.
You can also add Aviary as an app to your mobile device.
There are also a few other tools available at Aviary, including audio editor, music editor, image markup, effects, and vector. Although those are pretty useful to have as well, we tend to use the image editor if we need to make any quick changes on the go.
